Dear Praying Friends,
Have you ever had things all planned out and ready to go but then God revealed that He had other plans for you? I had planned to fly to South Africa on February 23rd and had everything packed up and ready to go. Unfortunately, my visa has not arrived yet so I have not been able to leave for South Africa. God’s plans include a time of waiting and trusting Him. Thankfully, everything is ready to go as soon as my visa arrives. Please continue to pray that my visa will come quickly so I can head to South Africa. I am praying that God would allow me to have many ministry opportunities during this time of waiting for my visa.
I had some wonderful meetings in Missouri in February. I am especially thankful for God’s protection on the road as I traveled through a significant snowstorm. God has truly been faithful to provide protection while I have been on deputation.
In my December and January letters, I wrote to you about the opportunity to record a CD with some friends. These are precious friends that I served on staff with at my sending church. Two of them are missionaries on deputation heading to Africa! The CD is titled “Look Unto Jesus” and it is our desire that it would encourage many people to seek the Lord. God has provided five new partnering churches. This is an answer to prayer! Thank you for praying so faithfully. While I might not always understand when God’s timing, I am thankful for a loving God who is working all things for our good and His glory.
