Dear Praying Friends,
This is the month! I plan to leave for South Africa on February 23rd. God has been so gracious to me as I have been on deputation and I am thankful for all of my supporters who I know are praying for God’s will to be done as I seek to reach the people of South Africa. Will you please pray for me as I fly to South Africa on February 23rd?
For this to happen, I will ask you to pray for one more thing while also praising the Lord. I went to Washington D.C. to have an interview for my visa. I am thankful to God for how He worked out all of the details and allowed me to get the necessary documentation needed. The officer said that the visa would be approved for three years. This is an answer to prayer! Thank you for praying. Please pray that I will receive the visa in time for my set departure this month.

I was able to travel to Alabama, Florida, and Tennessee and be in some wonderful churches in January. While in Alabama, it was exciting to be able to be back at my sending church and help on the van route bringing the children to church, share a missions spotlight with the Wednesday night children’s class, as well as substitute teach at the Christian school for a couple days. It is always a blessing to be back with my church family. In Tennessee, I was able to visit some dear friends that I served on staff with at my sending church that were an encouragement to me as I started to serve in full-time ministry. They have continued to be a blessing and encouragement over the last several years. It was nice to attend church with them, sing a special together, and present the mission field of South Africa at their church.

Thank you for praying for Camp Rhino! Although I was not able to be there, it was thrilling to get reports of how God worked. Seventy-three young people made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ at Camp Rhino in January!
Thank you for your continued prayers as I strive to get to South Africa! Lord willing, the next prayer letter will be written in South Africa!
